Welcome

Anam Cara Geelong offers support to people of all ages who are seeking palliative care within the greater Geelong community.

We are a community-funded, non-denominational organisation made up of compassionate health professionals, volunteers and supporters working together to provide day and overnight respite, as well as end-of-life care, in a "home like" environment.

Anam Cara Geelong also offers low-cost, short-term accommodation for people with a loved one staying at any one of the nearby hospitals in Geelong or who may be receiving treatment themselves.

If you would like to inquire about any of our services, please call us Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm on (03) 5222 5831 or email info@achg.org.au.

GMHBA donates $1,250 to Anam Cara Geelong

We are the lucky recipients of a $1,250 donation from GMHBA. Even better, it was in honour of the recent Project Pamper evening - a joint GMHBA and BacLinks project - recognising women who have been touched by cancer. What wonderful gifts to the local community. Thanks so much GMHBA!

Calling on Geelong businesses to pledge their support

We are thrilled to welcome Gartland Community on board as our first Business Community Partner. Thanks to Bob Gartland and the team for supporting the program over the next three years. Their pledge will fund one night of palliative care nursing which we provide free of charge to our guests.

Thank you to Morgans Financial Geelong and LBW Chartered Accountants for supporting the Program. Donations have also been received from Draper's Civil Contracting, Dr D.J.Fitzgerald and Waterhouse Kirtley Keys Insurance Geelong.

A special mention to Barwon Timber & Hardware for their generous donation which has covered two nights of palliative care nursing. Your support is invaluable.
